F/A-18C Hornet Fighter Jet

Our fighter jet simulators are replicas of the McDonnell Douglas F/A-18 Hornet (F18). This is an American multirole combat aircraft, initially intended to be embarked on board US Navy aircraft carriers. It was built between 1974 and 2000 in 1,480 examples and exported to around ten countries. It is the second most used combat aircraft in the world in 2012 with, according to an estimate, 1,005 aircraft in activity, or 6% of the global combat aircraft fleet.
With an empty mass of 11 tons, it can reach 1950 km/h (Mach 1.8) and an altitude of 50,000 feet. This fighter can carry several types of weaponry, including a 20mm rotary cannon (machine gun), air-to-air missiles and air-to-ground missiles. This aircraft can perform fighter escort, fleet air defense, suppression of enemy air defenses, air interdiction, close air support, and aerial reconnaissance.
Several countries have obtained them, including Canada, Spain, Finland, Australia, Switzerland, Malaysia and Kuwait.
The Boeing F/A-18E and F Super Hornet are its successors.
